DIY: An ice cream job motivation box!

This is the story of how I made this ice cream box as a motivation for a job vacancy.

Normally, like any other person, I would just sent my CV and job motivation. But this company said to surprise them, so they could do nothing else but welcome me with baloons and champagne. I saw this as an challenge and so the thinking process began….

My initial thought was to let my motivation be printed on a cake and bring this to the company. But then looking further, I came across the idea of an ice cream box. The idea is that I would deliver a box with toppings and other products needed for delicious ice cream, but leave the ice cream itself out. So when they would invite me for a job interview, I would bring the missing ice cream. And so I did.

I still thought it was a bit to unpersonal, so I decided to link my qualities to the ingrediets in the box. Some of them were easy for me to link, while others where more of a free, farfetched link.

On the top I chose for the text "to break the ice", which is a Dutch saying for; starting a conversation.
